Arg-Wireless - El Primer Foro de Wireless de Argentina...

Bien, hoy les traigo unos simples pasos para configurar dos equipos Ubiquiti Nanostation M2 como Punto a Punto (Base/Remoto):

Primero antes de comenzar debemos tener la versión v5.5 de AirOS, para no tener ningún tipo de problema, la podemos descargar de: http://www.ubnt.com/download#NanoStation:M2 (http://www.ubnt.com/download#NanoStation:M2)

una ves que tengamos actualizados los dos equipos, vamos a configurar el BASE, lo que vamos a hacer principalmente es Habilitar el AirMAX y configurarlo como HIGH:


Luego vamos a ir a la Pestaña "Wireless" y Configuraremos:


1.- Punto de Acceso
2.- WDS
3.- Un nombre para la RED.
4.- Esconder Nombre de la red.
5.- 40MHz
6.- Cambio de Canal deshabilitado.
7.- Frecuencia Automática.
8.- Lista de Frecuencias Habilitada.
9.- Seleccionamos un Canal no utilizado en la zona.
10.- 28dBm de potencia de salida.
11.- TX Maximo MCS 15-300.
12.- Cifrado WPA2-AES
13.- Autentificación PSK
14.- Una contraseña.
15.- Filtro de MAC, de ser necesario se habilita y se agrega la MAC Address del REMOTO.
16.- Cambiar... Aplicar...

Luego vamos a ir a la pestaña "Advanced" y vamos a configurar tal cual se ve en la imagen, pueda que no haya que cambiar nada.


Bien, por ultimo podemos ir a la pestaña "System" y darle el nombre de "BASE", y ya tendríamos configurado el primer Punto.

Ahora continuaremos con el segundo punto (REMOTO), lo primero que configuraremos sera el AirMAX:


Luego vamos a ir a la pestaña "Wireless" y vamos a configurar:


1.- Estacion.
2.- WDS.
3.- El nombre de la RED.
4.- La MAC Address del BASE.
5.- 20/40MHz
6.- Cambio de canal deshabilitado.
7.- Lista de Frecuencias habilitada.
8.- Frecuencia igual al BASE.
9.- 28dBm de potencia de salida.
10.- TX Maximo MCS 15-300.
11.- Cifrado WPA2-AES.
12.- Autentificación PSK.
13.- La Clave configurada en el BASE.
14.- Cambiar... Aplicar..

Luego vamos a la pestaña "Services" y allí configuraremos:


1.- Enable
2.- Una IP
3.- Cambiar... Aplicar...

Luego vamos a ir a la pestaña "Network" y configuraremos una IP diferente al BASE:


Bien, por ultimo podemos ir a la pestaña "System" y darle el nombre de "REMOTO", y ya tendríamos configurado el segundo punto.

Ahora simplemente debemos colocarlos a una distancia máxima de 7km con linea de vista.
